Next Steps
For ESDL, August 2026 is not the end. We see the upcoming months as a transition into the next chapter. Building on the collaborations, experiences and networks developed over the past years, the partner universities are already exploring future opportunities to continue this work together. This includes preparations for an Erasmus Mundus application, with the long-term vision of creating an international joint Master’s programme across institutions.
Beyond that, ESDL will continue to promote international collaboration through research, teaching and exchange, especially through continuous education formats for professionals. The aim is to create sustainable, long-term spaces that connect universities, organisations and people across borders.
The idea of ESDL remains alive, active and continues to evolve through new partnerships, new learning spaces and a shared passion for the topic of Systemic Design and its applications.

ESDL Final Seminar
The ESDL research project, funded by Erasmus+, invited past POSD participants and Alumni to join the Final Seminar, in order to celebrate the ending of the three-year journey.
ESDL Final Seminar Space on Hyhyve
For the ESDL Final Seminar, we created a second personalised digital interaction map, getting inspiration from participant feedback, who often described learning about Systemic Design as a „journey“ and how they felt they were „in the same boat“ with their fellow colleagues.
Our ESDL Final Seminar Space was hosted at Hyhyve, an interactive meeting platform.
The use of an interactive digital platform enabled the team to create more dynamic exchange formats across their three different countries.
