CUMULUS Presence
One of the goals of the ESDL research project was to expand visibility of the project itself within the global design community. Through conference contributions, we supported connections between organisations and encouraged the integration of systemic approaches in design education.
Since CUMULUS Association is the leading global association for art and design education and research, becoming active within the network was a natural step, especially because all three partner universities were already actively involved in it.

Systemic Design for Design Education
The Systemic Design Working Group at CUMULUS explored how Systems Thinking and Systemic Design can shape design education and aid sustainable transformation. As part of the ESDL research project and in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Susu Nousala (founder and co-president of the CSRP Institute), we aimed to bring together interdisciplinary perspectives to integrate Systemic Design into international curricula.
